Amrutha Aaharam

The moment you cook food, it becomes dead and looses the Prana Shakthi (Pranic Energy) it carries. This is called Mrutha Aaharam (Dead Food).

Amrutha Aaharam (alive / uncooked / raw) carries lot of Prana Shakthi.

Even in the Amrutha Aaharam, there are three categories based on Prana Shakthi.

Positive Prana (Abundant in Pranic energy vital to the body)

  1. Ash gourd (Highest Prana)

  2. Coconut

  3. Fresh fruits

  4. Uncooked Vegetables (Except the ones listed in zero / -ve prana)

  5. Sprouted Seeds / Nuts

Zero Prana (Don't provide any Pranic energy)

  1. Potatoes

  2. Tomatoes

Negative Prana (Takes away the Pranic energy of the body instead of giving energy)

  1. Non-Vegetarian Food

  2. Fried Food

  3. Garlic

  4. Onion

  5. Chilies

  6. Asafoetida (Hing)

  7. Brinjals

  8. Non-Food (Medicines / Drugs / Stimulants - Should be taken in moderation as medicines under guidance.)

  1. Alcohol

  2. Tobacco

  3. Coffee

  4. Tea

  5. Antibiotics
