The moment you cook food, it becomes dead and looses the Prana Shakthi (Pranic Energy) it carries. This is called Mrutha Aaharam (Dead Food).
Amrutha Aaharam (alive / uncooked / raw) carries lot of Prana Shakthi.
Even in the Amrutha Aaharam, there are three categories based on Prana Shakthi.
Positive Prana (Abundant in Pranic energy vital to the body)
Ash gourd (Highest Prana)
Uncooked Vegetables (Except the ones listed in zero / -ve prana)
Sprouted Seeds / Nuts
Zero Prana (Don't provide any Pranic energy)
Negative Prana (Takes away the Pranic energy of the body instead of giving energy)
Non-Food (Medicines / Drugs / Stimulants - Should be taken in moderation as medicines under guidance.)
